About the event
We conclude our Hitchcock Film Series with Sabotage (1936), an early thriller that showcases the director’s emerging mastery of tension and pacing.
Set in London, the film centers on a cinema owner secretly involved in a terrorist plot, and the unsuspecting people drawn into his orbit. Sabotage is notable for its tight storytelling and one of the most famously suspenseful sequences in Hitchcock’s early work.
We’ll be projecting the film for a large-format viewing experience in the library, with popcorn provided.
