About the event

Join artist Roshan Houshmand for the first session of Making Merit, a two-part exploration of Tibetan Buddhist art and its rich visual traditions.

This informal presentation will introduce participants to the traditional imagery, motifs, and symbolism found in Tibetan Buddhist art. Together, we'll explore some of the ideas and meanings behind this remarkable artistic tradition and build a foundation for the hands-on workshop to follow.

This is the first of two sessions in the Making Merit series. Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions, as the second session builds upon the ideas and concepts introduced here.

Part Two: Making Merit: Tibetan Buddhist Art Workshop takes place on Thursday, September 17, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Learn more about the workshop here >

Class size is limited to 10 participants, so reserve your spot soon.

Free and open to all. Donations are always welcome.
