About the event
Transform a favorite photo of your furry family member into a beautiful painting.
In this two-session workshop, you’ll learn how to transfer your photograph onto paper or canvas using line drawing, then bring it to life with color and expression. We’ll explore composition, technique, color, texture, and capturing your pet’s unique character.
IMPORTANT: This class meets on both Saturday, April 18 and Saturday, April 25. When you RSVP for April 18, you are registering for the full two-session workshop. Attendance at both sessions is required to complete your painting.
Coffee or tea and cookies will be served to create an atmosphere that is congenial and comfortable.
This program is designed for beginners and requires no prior experience.

Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with details about the workshop, including Scott’s email address so you can send your pet photo in advance. Preparing your image ahead of time allows Scott to create a grid for your painting and ensures we can make the most of our time together.
