Short Story Story Hour
A short story, a few good voices, and an excellent excuse to be somewhere more interesting than your living room on a Tuesday at 5:30
Time & Location
Mar 24, 2026, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Bovina Public Library, 33 Maple Ave, Bovina Center, NY 13740, USA
About the event
We’re inaugurating a new tradition at the Bovina Public Library: an evening of short stories read aloud, the way they were meant to be heard: in a room with other humans, at a reasonable hour, before anyone has had time to fall asleep in front of the news.
Join us for the first Short Story Story Hour
Featuring live readings by:
Terry Radigan, Brooke Alderson, Matthew Homeijer, and Annette Corvelo.
Expect tales that are thoughtful, strange, funny, possibly a little haunting, and almost certainly shorter than whatever you were going to scroll through on your device instead.
This is an all-ages program, though the mood leans toward the do-something-interesting-on-a-Tuesday crowd.
Please RSVP if you can, so we know how many chairs to unfold. Donations aren't required, but are always appreciated.
