Summer Reading Recap with Peg Hilson

At the beginning of the summer, The New York Times Book Review published its Summer Reading Bucket List, a collection of prompts designed to inspire readers to wander a little farther from their usual bookshelves.

Then, sometime in July, Peg Hilson had an idea: why not get together at the end of the summer and talk about what we actually read?

So, that's exactly what we're doing.

Join us for an informal evening of conversation about the books that accompanied us through the summer. Maybe you completed something on the New York Times Summer Reading Bucket List. Maybe you read something that ignored the list entirely. Maybe you started five books and finished two. All reading stories are welcome.

Come share your favorite discoveries, unexpected disappointments, abandoned books, beach reads, audiobooks, classics you finally got around to, and anything else that found its way onto your summer reading stack.

No preparation required. No assigned reading. Just bring your stories about the books you've read.
