Treasurer’s Report

• Discussion of investments and expenses

  • $15,000 in a 90-day CD at 3.25%

• ▪ Will review at the May meeting – CD deadline is June 11th

• 990 tax form is done; cost of tax prep = $390

• Discussion of change of 1099 form requirement

  • $2,000 is now the threshold for needing to issue a 1099

• M/S/A Treasurer’s Report

Librarian’s Report

• Programs

  • Pizza making – 15 attendees

  • Wire animals – 16 attendees

  • Short stories – 26 people

  • Donations = $295

• One library card issue since February 2026 meeting

• Website – Wix subscription for 3 years = $290

• Received request from a patron in Covis, NM 

  • Wrong library; they were looking for Bovina, TX 

• O’Connor grant for program by Pam Benson

  • Approved to be the fiduciary and process grant dollars

• O’Connor challenge grants are offered once per year in April
