Treasurer’s Report

• Still have $28,000 from O’Connor that can be used; add to funding

• Lichtenberg bond up in May; will discuss at that time the next steps

• GE Fair Fund class action; as part of Lichtenberg account

• John Gohorel—will put in a bid for the door at the top of the stairs

• Lift company came out to do the annual service; discussion and decision to not purchase

• the $825 annual plan

• Bonnie Denison—interested in offering a gardening program that will create garden

• spaces at the Library

Librarian's Report

• Have started using the bar-coding system

• Don Farley is increasing the scholarship amounts to $1,500 per year

• A smoke detector is needed for the basement

• June 2nd is the Pink Street Festival

• Ideas for programs to be shared with the Friends of the Library

• Stats:

  • 4 unique programs with 10 sessions and 202 participants;

  • 49 attendees to the Renovation Celebration;

  • 7 new library cards
